This work comes from a larger series, titled Pixel Cuts, where I consider the ways in which we process and consume information in the contemporary world. Drawing upon the visual languages of Content Management Systems (CMS) and E-commerce, physically stacked inkjet prints mirror the expansion and compression of meaning via the screen-based platform these representative images are presented and experienced. Our understandings of nature, and the ways in which we relate to other humans, cannot be separated by the ways in which we come to interact with them. In re-configuring these seemingly "pure" objects I'm create new and emerging relationships that reflect the chaotic structuring of a technology-oriented life.
